Hyundai's Neuville pens two-year contract extension
Hyundai will have Thierry Neuville at the wheel for the next two World Rally Championship campaigns.
Thierry Neuville has signed a two-year contract extension with Hyundai.
The Belgian joined the World Rally Championship (WRC) outfit ahead of the 2014 season and has since won two races, including this year's Rally d'Italia.
Next year will see the implementation of new regulations, which are largely aimed at allowing drivers to go faster, and Neuville is looking forward to the challenge.
"I am delighted to extend my contract for two more years," said the 28-year-old. "2017 will be a new era for the WRC with the revised regulations.
"With a new car next year, and even more ambitious targets, I am excited by what this next chapter will bring."
