CSL target Tevez: Not my last Superclasico
Carlos Tevez, 32, has been linked with a big-money switch to the CSL, where Shanghai Shenhua are desperate to sign the Boca Juniors star.
In music to the ears of Boca Juniors fans, star forward Carlos Tevez said Sunday's Superclasico was not his last derby for the Argentine giants amid growing speculation of a move to China.
Tevez has been linked with a big-money switch to the Chinese Super League, where Shanghai Shenhua - managed by Gus Poyet - are desperate to do a deal for the Argentina international.
The 32-year-old said he was unsure of a move away from Buenos Aires during the week but after scoring a match-winning brace for boyhood club Boca in the 4-2 win over arch-rivals River Plate, Tevez told reporters: "It was not the last Superclasico.
"The people of Boca know that I die for these colours and one feels happy because we enjoyed it all.
"It was one of the most free games I felt and I think that if we concentrated on playing and not protest we had more chances to win the game."
Boca head coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto, meanwhile, said Chinese suitors to hold off for at least another six months.
"I wish I had Tevez next year," Schelotto said.
"He knows what we want, we put a team around him. I would tell the Chinese to wait six more months.
"I'll talk to Tevez next week."
