Using Opta stats, we take a look at the career of retired Formula One world champion Nico Rosberg.
Nico Rosberg reached the pinnacle of Formula One on Sunday by becoming the world champion for the first time.
Fast forward five days and the German sent shockwaves through the sport by announcing his immediate retirement.
But former Mercedes driver Rosberg bows out with plenty of achievements to fondly look back on and, using Opta data, we have analysed a stellar career.
1 - The amount of world championships Rosberg won during his career.
206 - Over 11 years in F1 with Williams and Mercedes, Rosberg racked up 206 grands prix.
23 - Rosberg was the first to see the chequered flag on 23 occasions, putting him joint-12th with Nelson Piquet in the all-time list of race wins.
57 - The amount of occasions that Rosberg was able to pop the champagne by standing on the podium.
4 - Rosberg is the fourth driver to retire immediately after winning the F1 world title. Alain Prost was the last to do so in 1993.
9 - Rosberg's personal record of wins in a single season, which helped him to the championship in 2016.
7 - The number of consecutive races won by Rosberg over the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Only Sebastian Vettel can lay claim to a better streak in F1 having won nine straight in 2013.
