Windies complete win over Pakistan
Kraigg Brathwaite helped West Indies end a run of 13 Tests without a win as they beat Pakistan.
West Indies claimed a rare Test win away from home with a five-wicket victory over Pakistan on Thursday.
Kraigg Brathwaite, a centurion in the first innings, finished unbeaten on 60 to guide the tourists to victory on day five of the third Test in Sharjah.
Resuming at 114-5, the Windies completed the job comfortably as Shane Dowrich (60) combined with Brathwaite.
The pair put on 87 for the sixth wicket as their team finished at 154-5 to clinch their win.
The win ended a run of 13 Tests without a victory for the Windies, marking Jason Holder's first as captain.
It is also their first Test win away from home since November 2012.
Brathwaite's unbeaten 142 in the first innings set them up before Holder's five-wicket haul in the second saw them needing 153 for victory.
Despite slipping to 67-5, Brathwaite and Dowrich recovered to lead the Windies to their win.
Pakistan won the three-match series 2-1, with the Windies having been swept in both the Twenty20 and one-day international series.
