Cavs star LeBron James feeling better than last season
LeBron James is fit and firing and the Cleveland Cavaliers are benefiting in their pursuit of the NBA championship.
Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James said he is feeling physically great, even better than he did a year ago.
James and the Cavs are flying high in 2015-16, with the Cleveland franchise boasting an 11-3 win-loss record in the NBA prior to Wednesday's game against the Toronto Raptors.
That is in stark contrast to last season's start after the Cavs were 5-7 as James struggled with fitness upon his return to the city.
The four-time MVP, however, is now fit and firing following an anti-inflammatory injection in his lower back during pre-season.
"I feel better in the mornings; I feel better throughout the games; I feel better throughout the day," James said.
"It was a rough start to the season for me last year and for our team. Obviously the way we've been playing, a lot is predicated on my health and being able to lead these guys out on the floor and not from the sidelines."
James, 30, added: "It's definitely not a health thing, because being in the post with my back wouldn't be that great.
"So I'm feeling pretty good. I feel great."
