The Kansas City Royals tallied 20 hits as they outlasted the Detroit Tigers in MLB action.
Lorenzo Cain, Kendrys Morales, Paulo Orlando and Ben Zobrist all starred as the Kansas City Royals downed the Detroit Tigers 15-7.
Cain had a homer and three RBIs, Morales managed four hits and four RBIs, Orlando posted a two-run homer and Zobrist tallied four hits in a MLB slug fest at Kauffman Stadium on Thursday.
The American League (AL) Central-leading Royals were made to do it the hard way in Kansas City, overturning a 3-0 deficit, before a six-run seventh inning propelled the hosts to victory.
