Liverpool to face City in UCL quarters
The UEFA Champions League draw for the semi-finals has put Liverpool and Manchester City together, as well as a repeat of last year's final match-up between Juventus and Real Madrid.
Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool is the only side to beat Pep Guardiola's seemingly unstoppable City in the Premier League this season, winning 4-3 in a thriller at Anfield in January. But the Reds were humbled 5-0 earlier in the season when the two teams met in Manchester, and will likely be underdogs for this tie.
Juventus will no doubt be out for revenge against Madrid after losing last season's UEFA Champions League final 4-1 in Cardiff, while Madrid is looking to defend its title. The two teams have met 20 times in European competition, Madrid edging the head-to-head 9-8 after last year's final win.
The other ties saw Barcelona drawn to play Roma in a tie the unbeaten LaLiga leader will be confident of winning. Sevilla, which has reached the last eight for the first time in 60 years, faces Bayern Munich, the 2013 champion and a semi-finalist for the past three seasons.
The first leg ties will be played on 4 and 5 April (AEST) with the return legs to be played on 10 and 11 April (AEST).
