Habana signs Toulon extension
Toulon star Bryan Habana has signed a one-year extension to his contract with the Top 14 club.
South Africa international Bryan Habana has announced he has signed a new contract with Toulon until 2017.
The wing was an integral part of the Springboks squad who finished third at the Rugby World Cup, Habana moving level with Jonah Lomu as the all-time try scorer in the competition with 15.
Habana has enjoyed a trophy-laden spell in France since arriving in 2013, helping Toulon to two Champions Cup triumphs while also lifting the Top 14 title in 2014.
His previous deal with Toulon was due to expire at the end of the campaign, but he will now stay on in France for an extra year.
"I am happy to announce that I've extended my stay with Toulon until 2017," he posted on Instagram. "I am looking forward to contributing to the success of the club."
