Ozil reportedly tells team-mates he's United bound
Mesut Ozil has told his Arsenal team-mates will join Manchester United when his deal at the Emirates is up, according to reports in the British press.
Ozil is off contract at the end of this season, but Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger admitted he may be forced to sell the 29 year-old in the January transfer window as contract negotiations continue to stall.
A host of top European clubs have been reportedly keeping close tabs on the Germany international but the midfielder reportedly has his mind made up on a move to Manchester United, according to the Daily Mirror.
The reports will come as a blow to Arsenal fans, days after Ozil's agent Dr Erkut Sogut revealed talks over a contract extension at the Emirates Stadium were moving in a positive direction.
Arsenal reportedly tabled a $A459,000 per-week deal for the playmaker last season, but Ozil's representatives are reportedly holding out for $A584,000 per-week.
