Madrid faces Bayern in UCL quarters
Defending champion Real Madrid will face a former boss in the UEFA Champions League after being drawn against Carlo Ancelotti's Bayern Munich.
Real Madrid has been paired with Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals after the draw for the last eight was completed in Nyon on Friday (AEDT).
Zinedine Zidane will take his defending title holder to the Bundesliga leader for the first leg, before Carlo Ancelotti returns to his old employer for the second leg at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu.
Fairytale qualifier Leicester City didn't have to wait long to learn its fate in the draw, picked out second by Ian Rush, the UEFA Champions League Final Ambassador for 2017, to face Atletico Madrid for a first leg in the Spanish capital.
Former champion Barcelona also faces a tricky test, drawn away against Juventus for the first leg. The Italian giant has not lost a match at home since August 2015, and will be confident of grabbing the advantage in the first match.
But Barcelona proved in the Round of 16 it can come back from anything, wiping out a 4-0 deficit against Paris Saint-Germain to win 6-5 on aggregate in the return leg at Camp Nou last week.
The other tie sees Borussia Dortmund host Monaco in what promises to be a goal-heavy tie.
The matches will be played on 12 and 13 April (AEDT).
