Things were looking good for Poland in the opening stages, when Lukasz Moneta put the host ahead after just six minutes before Sweden responded in the 35th minute.

Carlos Strandberg headed home from close range to level the scores, before Jacob Larsson put the Swedes in front five minutes later from a corner kick.

Dawid Kownacki converted a spot kick for the Poles in the dying stages, but it wasn't enough to secure a spot in the semi-finals.
