Bendtner own-goal ends Forest's unbeaten run
A Nicklas Bendtner own goal was followed by a second-half onslaught, as Derby boss Steve McClaren came back to haunt his former club.
Nottingham Forest ended its four-match unbeaten run after it slumped to a 3-0 defeat to Derby on Sunday (AEDT).
It was a game to forget for Nicklas Bendtner as the former Arsenal man headed the ball in the back of the net to give Derby the lead in the 33rd minute.
Incredibly, Bendtner almost scored another own goal in the 52nd minute, misdirecting another header off a set piece, this time hitting the post.
Derby doubled the lead just three minutes later when Ince got in behind the Forest defence before poking the ball past Stojkovic.
Derby put the icing on the cake in the 64th minute, after Russell's strike was parried into the path of Hughes, who turned it in from close range.
The win sees Derby break into the top six for the first time this season, while Nottingham Forest slumped to 16th place.
