English Premier League giant Liverpool, LaLiga heavyweight Atletico Madrid and Serie A contender Napoli will be among the high-profile European clubs joining host team Bayern Munich for the fifth edition of the Audi Cup from 2-3 August.
Bayern has taken out three of the previous four tournaments, losing the 2011 final 2-0 to Barcelona. That day, Thiago scored both goals. Now at Bayern, the diminutive Spanish play-maker will be hoping to propel his team towards a first piece of silverware this season.
