Costa says Brazil in 'sensational' shape
Douglas Costa thinks Brazil is in "sensational" shape under new boss Tite as it continues to build for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Tite took charge last June after the sacking of Dunga, who had failed to reach to reach the last four in either of the 2015 or 2016 Copa America tournaments.
Brazil is four points clear of closest challenger Uruguay at the top of South American World Cup qualifying, with Bayern Munich winger Costa having played in eight of its 12 games.
The Selecao have won six straight qualifiers since the start of Tite's reign and Costa feels they have "grown up" ahead of the Confederations Cup in Russia this year, an event which will help them to prepare for the World Cup in the same country.
"I think after the new coach came in, he made big changes and the team grew up," Costa said. "Now we are in a sensational way and we have to continue with this form until 2018 in Russia to maybe win the world title.
"This is in the plan which I have for my career and my life, to one day win the Champions League and the World Cup."
Brazil has two qualifiers in March, away to Uruguay before a home match against Paraguay.
