Heynckes set to replace Ancelotti at Bayern
Jupp Heynckes is reportedly on the verge of sealing a return to Bayern Munich to replace Carlo Ancelotti, who was sacked on Saturday (AEDT).
Carlo Ancelotti was sacked by Bayern Munich after last month's 3-0 UEFA Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich with assistant Willy Sagnol taking charge on an interim basis.
Heynckes is in line for a fourth spell at Bayern Munich, after most recently leading the Bavarians to the Bundesliga, German Cup and Champions League treble in 2013.
The 72 year-old retired after the treble winning season but has now agreed a contract until the end of the season, according to Sky Sports.
